The Faculty of Pharmacy at DDU is a premier institute dedicated to excellence in pharmaceutical education and research. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, we aim to produce highly skilled pharmacists and researchers who can contribute significantly to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Our curriculum integrates core pharmaceutical sciences with clinical exposure and modern research methodologies.
We boast a strong research culture with ongoing projects funded by national agencies. Our advanced research laboratories are equipped with sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV spectrophotometers. Students and faculty actively publish in high-impact international journals and hold several patents in drug formulation and delivery systems.
The faculty features modern, spacious, and well-ventilated laboratories for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy. Our specialized library houses thousands of books, international journals, and e-resources dedicated to pharmaceutical sciences. A medicinal plant garden on campus provides hands-on learning for pharmacognosy students.
Our graduates are highly preferred by the pharmaceutical industry. The active placement cell organizes campus interviews with top pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and healthcare organizations including Zydus Cadila, Sun Pharma, Torrent Pharma, and Intas. Students find excellent opportunities in R&D, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Research.
